It's been a while !

Where have we been ?!

Well, at lot has happened since our last post which is a little over a year old
For starters, last year in September my wife gave birth to our 2 beautiful twin boys Max & Myles.
Soon after that Eli got a great employment offer in Atlanta and he moved.

The whole time I've been mainly working and helping raise my boys, but now we're starting to dust off ourselves and looking into getting back to playing and hopefully recording soon !

First thing is that we need a new bassist !!

We've talked to some upright players and we're really excited about hopefully getting an upright player back with us. It was our original sound and it's definitely a sound I have come to miss.

Rest of the guys are in the city doing their thing but like I said we're all getting ready to start doing our thing.

When? that I can't answer but hopefully soon.
Hey you play bass??  reach out to us !  You will have to be in NYC though.

Anyway, thanks for all the luv, the emails, and for always staying in touch, we will be back sooner than you think !

Reggae Cookout !

Now is that a great idea or what?? !!
THIS Sunday, Paper Box (one of our favorite spots in the city) is hosting the Sunday Reggae Cookout.
It's basically a BBQ with Live Reggae Music.  Does it get better than that??
We are super excited to be part of this event and we also get to play with another excellent local reggae act, Brooklyn's own Judah Tribe.
This is going to be an excellent event filled with good music, good people, and tons of good vibes.
If you haven't been to Paper Box, then you should definitely come through; it's one of the newest live music spots in Brooklyn with "...the best live sound in Brooklyn."  We haven't played every spot in Brooklyn, but out of the spots we've played Paper Box definitely has the best sound, plus the people there are super cool and very laid-back.
Trust us, it's gonna be a rocking event so come through !

Tonight we head back to our home in Harlem The Shrine.
We got a live reggae music-filled evening.
El Pueblo plays at 9pm (on the dot) followed by NJ's own Random Test.

As usual, it's free to get in, and (also as usual) it's going to be the great chill-out vibe that The Shrine always has, come through and find out for yourself why we love this spot !

...and by the way...HAPPY FRIDAY !!!

Tonight at Paper Box !

A final reminder to you all that tonight we're going to be at The Paper Box in Brooklyn.
The Paper Box is located at 17 Meadow Street in Williamsburg, walking distance from the L Train Grand St stop.

This performance is part of a huge 3 days event called Brooklyn Beat and it's presented by Art For Progress.  The entire event includes Live Music, Djs, Performance Art, Installations, Films, and (something called) Interactive Fashion.

All the of the money collected goes to Art For Progress which means we're playing for free but for a very worthy cause since all the money will got funding more projects like this one.

There are tons of bands playing and the events are being held throughout Brooklyn, not just at Paper Box, but if you wanna check our set out come through (before 8 !) tonight at The Paper Box.
Only $5 at the door plus $3 PBRs (Brooklyn event's unofficial sponsor ..heheh)

Guys come through ! it's going to be a blast.
