Happy Friday !

Here's another video from our last show at The Shrine.

Camera is a lil shaky, but you can still listen to this VERY new song written by our drummer Lucas Leto.
Song still doesn't have a title so maybe you can suggest him a title for the song !

Check it out :

Have a great friday and a rockin' weekend

First Show of 2012 !

Saturday, March 31st at The Shrine will be our first show of 2012, and we are super excited !

We've been putting a lot of work in preparing for this show, though perhaps "work" is not the right word since we've been having a blast.
Our sound has greatly improved and we seem to just keep getting tighter and tighter which is interesting because the tighter you get as a band the more loose and relaxed the music seems because everybody is so comfortable with having the song be free enough to go to different places and explore more dynamics.
(Sounds a lil' nerdy but it's true)

Another great thing about our next show at The Shrine is that its going to be a "triple reggae bill." The Hard Times will be kicking off the night, then yours truly El Pueblo, and last but not least we cap the night with Roots Vibrations.

We really look forward to seeing you guys come through ...oh ! and its free !!!  (gotta love the Shrine)

See you sat 31st !

much luv

7/8 at Shrine

It was a rainy night and the Shrine was not as packed as it usually is on a friday night but the fyah was definitely on !
We had an amazing time playing a pretty rocking set that included 2 guest singers.
Poor Mike (bass) fell of his bike just a couple of days before the show and he fractured two fingers in his right hand, luckily the break did not affect his Index and Middle fingers so he was still able to bring the fire that he always brings on the bass.
This is also the first show back with Mike since 2006 !
Everybody played a great show and perhaps more importantly had a great time.
The audience at the Shrine definitely showed their love on that tip bucket so many thanks to them !
We'll be back at Shrine in Sept.

Below is the set list for the show:

El Pueblo Jam
Morning Glory
Water Get No Enemy
* Babylon System Slave
* The Ocean
** It's a Pity
** Police & Thieves
Kafka

* with Chino & Tita on vocals
** Covers with Tita on vocals

Next shows:
7/23 - New Village Music Fest (Tompkins Square Park, Lower East Side)
7/30 - Rockwood Music Hall
8/19 - Nublu
9/23 - Shrine
